Well, my first yard trimmer finally broke. It was one of those cheap Black and Decker models. I think I bought it around 2002. This is not the first time it broke – oh no. It was in a constant state of breaking from almost the moment I first purchased it, but the things that were breaking were not essential to running the trimmer. Today though is different. The motor only makes a humming noise and that’s it. No trimming. I think I am glad it finally broke so that I can buy a newer one and get that eye-sore out of the garage.
